Merriscourt Wedding Oxfordshire | Cotswold Wedding Photographer

Richard and Kat’s marriage was a Merriscourt Wedding Oxfordshire. It is a beautifully rustic Cotswold Barn with so much style and class.
John Day was my wingman on the day to follow Richard and the boys as they did their thing in the morning. I stayed with Kat and her family as they brushed off their nerves and set about getting really. They got ready in a small little coach house at the entrance of Merriscourt. Its was closed off from the guests and of course from Richard.
All their guest piled into the Rustic Cotswold Barn filled with the smell of Eucalyptus for the ceremony. As Kat and her Dad arrive the big curtain was pulled back to reveal Kat to all their favourite people and of course her slightly anxious Husband to be.
After Richard and Kat said their I DO”s all the guests made the walk across the courtyard to the patio where drinks were severed in front of the rolling hills of the Cotswolds.
As the room was turned around ready for the Wedding Breakfast I managed to grab Richard and Kat to take a 5-minute walk with me to find some beautiful locations to take some Couples Portraits. when you are at a Merriscourt Wedding Oxfordshire you are spoilt for choice as every direction you look there is another vista that looks like it came off of a postcard.
The first time I met Richard and Kat was when I was a Cripps Barn Wedding Photographer another beautiful Cotswold Wedding Venue.
This is by far one of my favourite weddings of 2016 not because I got to shoot with John again and not because of all of the amazing rustic details that Kat had worked so hard on but because it was so relaxed and easy-going.
