Prince Albert Camden Wedding
Cheryl and Ryan contacted me about 10 days before their Prince Albert Camden Wedding. Cheryl’s brother was visiting for Christmas from Australia so they thought why not get married now.
These guys really should get some sort of trophy. The fact they have 3 young children is enough to make you want to hibernate after the festive period, but to arrange a wedding in 2 weeks as well is amazing.
I have been to weddings less organised and they had 2 years to work on the plans.
Prince Albert Camden Wedding Pub is one of my favourite places in London. It attracts super laid back people and has an Alternative Wedding Vibe.
I had Wedding Photography homie Luke Hayden cover the morning with Cheryl. She got ready at their family home in Bedfordshire. I was shooting a Essex Wedding the day before and there was a Christmas train shutdown. I headed to London to hangout with Ryan as he got ready with his brother at the Great Northern Hotel at King’s Cross St Pancras Station.
After the wedding at the Camden Town Hall we headed to Prince Albert Camden for their drinks reception and food. We had a really small window of light with it being December so we went for a walk to get some couples Portraits before it got dark.
Cheryl really wanted a picture at the Camden Railway Bridge. We persuaded a guy in his car to sit at a green light so we could get the shot. The road cleared and Cheryl and Ryan strutted across the street.
London streets are the best to shoot in but not everyone one is as accommodating as the guys who sat at the lights.
These guys and their family and friends were ace and I had the best time shooting this.
