Alternative Wedding Photography | Ringshall Grange Wedding
A few weeks back I got to hang with Hannah + Mats and bust out some Alternative Wedding Photography at Ringshall Grange.
Everything about this wedding was Alternative and cool.
Ringshall Grange is a moated Manor house at the bottom of a long winding lane in Suffolk Uk, its was built in around 1560.
Hannah + Mats are awesome film makes and run Buckle up films they told me from day one it was going to be a little different.
They had a Celtic ceremony with all the cool bits made a little cooler by the fact their friends did everything from the ceremony to the hand fastening. They had about 20 close family and friends looking on sitting amongst the tree-lined moat of Ringshall Grange.
After the ceremony they all made there way over the bridge to the Grange for drinks poured and handed out by friends as a few of them including the Bride and Groom started making the sitdown meal. That’s right no catering company they made it part of their wedding! I love everything about this idea but I’m a terrible cook so it would be crap for anyone coming.
When it got to the time for me to take Hannah + Mats for some couples portraits they brought their beautiful super8 camera to film each other in some of the grounds. I want one so bad!
No white dress no formal groups no formal timings just relaxedness in beautiful surroundings who want’s more than that?
I’m not knocking weddings in any way I just love people being themselves and not looking back or buckling to pressure.
Hannah + Mats you nailed this big time.
Now back to the never-ending Editing pile =)
