Traditional English Wedding | Narborough Hall Gardens

Laura and Richard’s Traditional English Wedding at Narborough Hall Gardens in Norfolk is another throwback wedding.

Its styling is so classic and effortless.

Laura is the only bride I have ever shot getting ready at Narborough Hall Gardens. I got a real glimpse at the owners amazing eye for detail their unreal collection of furniture.

When you stand in the main bedroom the light peeks through the ivy filled window at one end towards the dressing room.

As you work your way through the adjoining rooms the light opens up as you get to the master bedroom.

When I started Photographing I know it was going to be something special and the mix of the green from the ivy and the colours from the wood-clad walls cast on my images.

Too many times I have left big hotel weddings feeling unsatisfied by the mix of lighting and lack of love that has been left on the walls. This never happened at Narborough Hall Gardens.

The wedding was a flower-filled church wedding in the church over the road from Narborough Hall Gardens.

As we all arrived back at the Hall Joanna (the owner) and staff started the drinks reception garden party fit for royalty.

As the garden party neared its end and the dinner bell was called there was just time for Richards old house leader from school to referee a Tug Of War ending in the odd injury.

The Wedding continued in good form in the crystal white Marquee.

The Bridesmaids raised their first dance flags and led everyone to my favourite place at Narborough Hall Gardens the pool house barn.

Rustic bare brick and festoon lighting with fire pits around the pool make this an unreal evening location.
